This time around we’re showing off some our finest silver:
PSA: Silver is really hard to photograph! So plenty of awkward reflections inbound!

A composite 5 piece silver tea service all in the same half fluted oval shape with ebony handles and finials. It comprises of:
- Spirit Kettle on stand, London 1907, approx 1269g in all.
- Teapot Sheffield 1898 approx 557g.
- Hot water jug, London 1891, approx 617g.
- 2 handled sugar basin – Chester 1907, approx 336g.
- Cream jug, Sheffield 1911, approx 200g.
A matched pair (same maker) of George II style silver sauce boats on shell feet, Sheffield 1898 & London 1898, maker Henry Stratford. Approx 820g total.
A pair of Georgian silver scissor action sugar tongs c1755. Makers mark WM.
A pair of silver Georgian bright out sugar tongs, London 1791. Makers mark IG.
A silver mustard pot with hinged lid & blue glass liner, Birmingham 1912.
A silver sugar bowl with hinged lid, Birmingham 1907. Approx 129g.
A 19th century Dutch silver caddy spoon with pear shaped bowl, a Dutch 19th century fruit spoon & a pastry fork.
A silver sauce boat with ball feet, London 1899. Approx 153g with a continental silver sauce ladle.
A cased pair of silver pepper casters, Birmingham 1873. Approx 76g.
12 Dutch silver tea spoons with tea strainer in mirror lined birds eye maple box, c1843.
A cased set of HM Silver serving spoons. London 1909.
A cased set of 4 silver place card menu holders in animal forms, Birmingham 1908.
A HM silver cigarette case with Art Deco decoration to front on engine turned background. Approx weight 145g. Birmingham 1933, maker Charles S Green & Co.
A miniature Art Deco continental silver picture frame approx. 10 x 4.5cm. Makers mark KS.
A HM silver lidded rouge pot – Birmingham 1912, a HM silver rimmed scent bottle and a phial shaped glass scent bottle with coloured stripes & white metal lid.
A hallmarked silver lidded, glass bodied travelling hatpin holder, London 1880.
3 continental early 20th century walking sticks with continental silver handles.
A Victorian bamboo riding crop with HM Silver handle, London 1898 J.C Vickery, 191-3 Regent Street.
Beautifully engraved heavy hallmarked silver cigarette case, maker J Gloster Ltd, HM Birmingham 1918, Initials RGH intertwined on front cartouche – inside engraved “Presented to Mr RG Hill in affectionate remembrance & esteem from the members of his late Hoe St Section”. Approx weight 91.9g.
