A gilt framed oil on board ‘Market Scene’ by M.J Rendell (slade school). 56 x 66cm.
An oil on canvas – Hiroshi Tagami (1928-2014) Hawaiian artist – Sunrise Sunset 1967. 41cm x 51cm (16″ x 20″).
A framed late 17th century /early 18th century oil on canvas of a ruined castle in a storm. Unsigned, in french gilt frame. Canvas size: 32 x 26cm. Frame Size: 42 x 48cm.
A 19th/early 20th century framed & glazed watercolour of Constantinople by Tristam James Ellis (1844-1922) signed T.E. 17 x 38cm in distressed effect gilt frame.
Framed acrylic on canvas original painting ‘Cancelled’ by Peter R Westacott. Of an early test flight of the prototype English Electric TSR2 Serial number XR219. Piloted by Chief Test Pilot Roland Beamont. 44 x 34″ frame size.
The TSR2 project was a cancelled Cold War strike and reconnaissance aircraft developed for the Royal Air Force in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The TSR-2 was designed to penetrate a well-defended forward battle area at low altitudes and very high speeds.
Framed and signed print ‘Now And Then’ by Peter R Westacott. A tribute to Sir Thomas Sopwith and British Aerospace. Bae Harrier GR.5 ZD346 and Sopwith Pup N5195. An actual event at the Biggin Hill air fair June 1988. 29 x 25″, Signed by the pilots and the artist.
Framed and signed print ‘Almost Home’ by Peter R Westacott. Depicting Captain John Alcock and Lieutenant Arthur Whitten Brown performing the first nonstop powered flight to cross the North Atlantic in a converted Vickers Vimmy Bomber. The flight was from St. Johns Newfoundland to Clifden, County Galway, Ireland on June 14th-15th, 1918. 32 x 27″.
Framed and signed print ‘Borrowed Sky’ by Peter R Westacott. Depicts squadron leader Jan Zambach V.M K.W D.F.C & Bar in his personal Spitfire Vb in formation climbing out to patrol the English Channel during 1942. 32 x 25″.
Framed and signed print ‘Columbus New Mexico 1916. Day One – The Cradle of US Military Airpower’ by Peter R Westacott. The original painting hangs in the office of the Chief of Staff of the US Air Force in the Pentagon. Produced to celebrate the Wright Brothers, Wilber and Orville on the 100th anniversary of the first man powered, sustained and controlled flight by a heavier that air aircraft. Also includes a signed and dated envelope from Kitty Hawk that flew on the replica aircraft. 37 x 30″.
